In addition, the hot-melt construction method adopted by the SBS coil is also a common welding. We call him a hot-melt construction method instead of calling welding.

Hot air welding operation method: The thermoplastic plastic is melted by hot air at a temperature of up to 500 + ° C, and then the melted coil is pressed together by a press roll. The principle is the same as the welding rule of steel bars, but the specific way of implementation is different. The electric welder melts the metal by the high current flowing through the electrode through the current, while the hot air welding melts the thermoplastic through high temperature. The operating temperatures of the two are different, the welding temperature is high, and the hot air welding temperature is low. Applicable materials are different: electric welding trials and various metals and hot air welding are suitable for waterproofing membranes and geomembranes made of various thermoplastics.

When using hot air welding, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the temperature of the welding torch matches the running speed of the welding machine, and an optimal welding window should be selected.
