Features

The product does not need adhesive during construction, nor does it need to be heated and baked until it melts, and only need to tear off the isolation layer to be firmly bonded to the base layer. The construction is convenient and the construction speed is extremely fast. It has rubber elasticity and excellent elongation, and is well adapted to the deformation and cracking of the base layer. It is suitable for roofing, basement, indoor, municipal engineering and storage tanks, swimming pools and subway tunnels of industrial and civil buildings. It is also suitable for waterproofing of wood structure and metal structure roof. Especially suitable for waterproof projects such as oil depots, chemical plants, textile mills, grain depots where open flames are not suitable.

Construction technology of self-adhesive waterproof membrane

The conventional thickness is from 25um to 150um. It is divided into cold and hot tearing and matte surface. After anti-static and anti-scratch treatment, the product has good absorption and fit. PET film has high temperature resistance, temperature resistance ≥220℃, elongation at break is generally about 30%.

PE release film is coated with a layer of silicone oil on the surface of the PE film to reduce the adhesion of the surface of the PE film to achieve the effect of release, its temperature resistance ≤130 ℃; elongation at break 200%; peel force ≤0.25N /25mm; residual adhesion rate ≥70%.

Analysis of two kinds of isolation membranes influencing factors of difficulty in peeling off the membrane

First: The discharge temperature during the production of the coil exceeds the withstand temperature of the separator.

Various products have different corresponding discharge temperatures required during production. Some manufacturers have no cooling equipment to achieve the required discharge temperature. As long as the isolation film does not shrink or burn, it is produced in this case. Coiled film separators are also difficult to isolate, and wrinkles in the separator will seriously affect the appearance of the product.

Second: The produced coil cannot be cooled and cooled in time.

After the coil material comes out of the oiling pan, it needs to pass through several cooling waters to perform a flexible cooling process. Sometimes the cooling water is relatively high, and the coil surface cannot be cooled in time, resulting in the coil being at a high temperature for a long time. In the middle, the film can not be peeled off.

Third: It is not easy to uncover the temperature caused by construction in summer.

Due to the high outside temperature in summer, the self-adhesive coil is black and easily absorbs heat, so the surface temperature of the coil can reach 60-70°C during construction; and some construction sites have poor storage conditions, if placed under the sun The coil is very easy to tilt because of the high temperature; both cases will make it difficult to peel the coil.

Problems in the production and construction of self-adhesive waterproof membrane

There are two main types of insulation materials used for self-adhesive waterproof membranes. One is a membrane with PE isolation membrane as the insulation material, and the other is a membrane with PET isolation membrane as the insulation material. These two kinds of coiled materials are prone to uncover the film during summer production and construction, which seriously affects the production schedule and construction schedule.

If the self-adhesive coil cannot be peeled off during production, it is greatly affected by the discharge temperature of the rubber compound. If the temperature exceeds 160°C, the silicone oil on the PE separator will dissolve with the oil in the self-adhesive compound, and the insulation will be lost. Then it is even harder to peel off the film at the construction site.

The reason for the recipe

If there is too much oil used in the formula or some waste engine oil, the produced coil is easy to precipitate in a short time after storage. The precipitated oil will cause the viscosity of the coil to decrease, on the other hand Reacts with the silicone oil on the isolation membrane, which makes the isolation decrease and the membrane cannot be removed.

Causes of the separator

Due to the low temperature resistance index of the PE isolation film, the drying temperature of the coated silicone oil should not be too high

If the output temperature exceeds the drying temperature of the silicone oil during production, the silicone oil will be compatible and lose its isolation.

Impact of construction environment

In summer, the outside temperature is high, and the coil itself has a high heat absorption index. If the coil is exposed to sunlight at the construction site, the membrane surface temperature will reach 40-50 ℃, it is very easy to uncover the film, not to mention the time of construction. The material needs to be laid on the concrete. After exposure and the surface temperature of the concrete, the coil material can easily reach about 50-60 ℃. At this time, it is even more difficult to peel the film.

When producing self-adhesive coils in summer, special attention should be paid to the discharge temperature and the temperature of the cooling water during production. After production, the coils should be constructed under the conditions of the construction site to prevent the phenomenon of uncovering the film on the construction site.
